Actress Zorkóczy Zenóbia was a guest at our school on 8 October, with a poetry programme titled "My God", featuring works by contemporary authors. The artist, a scholarship holder of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, built her programme from contemporary religious poems published in Irodalmi Jelen. It was good to hear that poems by poets from our town were also recited: Dimény – Haszmann Árpád, Fekete Vince and Muszka Sándor. A pleasant discussion developed about the supportive intent of great writers, the authors' awards, and their struggles in seeking God.
The artist performed her programme twice. Classes XI. A, XI. B and XII. C took part in the event.
On 9 October, a group of thirty from our school attended the performance of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at the Tamási Áron Theatre. The play was directed by Bodó Viktor, and the creators won numerous international awards.
