NAGYKORÚSÍTÁSI ÜNNEPSÉG ISKOLÁNKBAN

On 5 December, the evening of St Nicholas Day, we solemnly declared seventy-six of our students of age in the festive hall of the Vigadó Cultural Centre.

After the ceremonial entrance of the honourees, our school's principal, Mrs Gál Zsuzsanna, welcomed the celebrants and attendees.

The performance by the eleventh-grade students was titled, inspired by Arany János's Toldi: He rises, and the door slams behind him...

They professed: "this evening is about this moment. About the moment when one suddenly realises that now they hold the wheel, the key is in their pocket, and if a door opens, they must step through it. Not with solemn words, but as life does: with a half-smile, a little nervousness, and that strange, pleasant feeling that something is beginning." The script was inspired by poems/texts by Cseh Katalin, Weöres Sándor, Lackfi János, Grecsó Krisztián. Directors of the performance: form teachers Tankó Kamilla and Dr. Zoller Katalin. Choreographer: Bokor Zsuzsa, dance teacher. Music was enhanced by Bartók Emil, member of the Tempo Band, a former student of our school, and Vargyasi Szabolcs. Thank you for their help!

The ribbon-pinning ceremony began with form teachers and classes being called to the stage: Szőke-Kertész Andrea for grade XII.A, Turoczi Andrea for grade XII.B, Dr. Deák Ferenc for grade XII.C.

The Maturand thoughts of the twelfth-grade classes were conveyed in a speech by Bartók Anita.

Benkő Beáta, Bajcsi Tünde and Deák Klaudia from grade XII.B greeted the audience with the song "Most élsz" by Magdolna Rúzsa. The song "Útravaló" by Margaret Island was performed by Fejér Bence-Ákos, a grade XII.C student.
