"It is not enough to deserve happiness, you must also know how to create it."
(Jókai Mór)
The Jókai Tea Room opened in Room 6, welcoming those seeking relaxation all week, not only with interesting facts about Jókai, fresh newspapers, quotes, but also with unconventional set pieces, hot tea, biscuits, candlelight, good cheer, playful invitations, smiles. It functioned as a real community, conversation and relaxation space. We also inaugurated the new ping-pong table, which we obtained through a project within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Organiser: Deák Magdolna, Hungarian language teacher. Contributors to the setup: Keresztessy-Biró Emese, librarian; Szőcs Izabella, Keresztes Katalin, Csiszár Attila and Lukács Attila. Thank you to the Udvartér Theatre for the posters.
Students in grades IX.A and B worked using the "Let's Create Together! – Forms, Colours, Poems, Sounds, Melodies" method, which is based on conveying the emotional impact of lyrical creations. The programme was based on the project of Valeria Corsi, psychologist and visual artist. The aim was to create an ideal psychological environment for developing creativity. Students experienced the creative power of an unconsciously, unintentionally drawn line, while striving to achieve chromatic harmony. The method's particularity is that students could freely decide whether to continue the activity. The joint creation process was like simultaneously filming and watching a film: the course of "creation" was directed by the participants' own imagination, influencing each other, continuously shaping the result. There were no designated roles – the sole starting point was drawing a simple line, from which a collective work was born. Organiser: Kocsis Annamária, school inspector.
Grade X.A worked on digital newspaper editing. Organiser: Szabó Henrietta, IT teacher.
Grade X.B took part in unconventional interactive sessions at the Baron Miklós Wesselényi Municipal Library, discussing the role of nursery rhymes and the communicative behaviour of toddlers with Kovács Izabella Andrea, librarian and former student of our school. Organiser: Dr. Szekeres Jolán, Romanian language teacher.
In grade XI.A, students created didactic games and tools related to natural science methodology in group work, presented them to each other, tested the games, evaluated them on assessment sheets, and finally organised an exhibition in the hallway. Organiser: Turoczi Andrea, biology teacher.
Grade XI.B had an experiential pedagogy and art therapy session led by PhD candidate ORBÁN IMOLA, psychologist and helping professional. Organiser: Deák Magdolna, Hungarian language teacher.
For grades XI.A, XII.A and B, DR. DÓSA ZOLTÁN, psychologist, associate professor, head of the Odorheiu Secuiesc branch of Babeș-Bolyai University's Institute of Pedagogy and Applied Didactics, gave a career orientation talk. Afterwards, he presented his poetry volume "Rögcédulák." Organisers: Szőke-Kertész Andrea, Turoczi Andrea, form teachers, and Dr. Zoller Katalin, pedagogy teacher.
