BOD PÉTER NAPOK, avagy Iskola másképp hét (folytatás)

MONDAY, 9 February 2026
(continued)
In grades IX.A, B and X.B, group work focused on Mór Jókai's novel The Gypsy Baron, preparing for the project competition themed "Jókai at 200 – the world interpreter", whose aim is to discover, through Jókai's prose, that the classic novel is not merely a literary work but a complex reading game encouraging knowledge of the world and culture, an adventure. Organiser: Fejér Piroska, Hungarian language teacher.
In grade IX.B, a session was held on Digital tools in learning – proper use of AI. "My goal was for students to learn to critically interpret AI responses and not accept everything as true, but to verify information. To this end, I showed examples of how artificial intelligence can deceive us, give incorrect information. I wanted to encourage them to use it as a learning partner, not for copying." Organiser: Turoczi Andrea, biology teacher.
Grades X.A, B, XI.A and B participated in the interactive concert-lesson "Ady's Beating Universe" presented by FERENCZ ÁRON, musician and teacher, in which he showed students the history of human development through the history of percussion instruments and music in a broader sense, as well as through the poems of Ady Endre. The experiential pedagogy lecture was not just a cultural-historical journey. It drew our attention to how important it is to take care of the macro- and micro-universe full of wonders and beauties: our planet ("because we have nowhere to go"), but also of each other ("Do not hurt each other!", "Go home to your parents and start giving back!"), and even of our own soul ("We have nothing else to do but love."). Organiser: Dr. Zoller Katalin.
In all classes, carnival preparations began: designing and making sets and costumes together not only created a festive atmosphere but also became an experience-rich, community-building process. Artistically refined sets suited to the performances were created.
